Having worked with clients on many community building efforts, including both b2b and b2c communities, I agree with you.  The idea that publishing member content is ALWAYS the way to go just doesn’t match with the value for participants.   &lt;br /&gt;  &lt;br /&gt; I think one more point to make that ties nicely to your three pillars, particularly when it comes to selectivity, is creating network of peers.
